I think this week’s speech was very different from the ones that we have done in previous weeks. It seemed a bit more laid back in the sense that I didn’t have to research anything and look up different facts, I didn’t have to spend hours planning out the exact words and memorizing them in the order that they are supposed to go in. This week was full reflection and it was nice to just know right away everything I want to say and everything I want to cover. This reflection was extremely helpful and helped me finalize and summarize all the things I have learned. I think the speech’s content was good and I tried to show my knowledge by talking about the chapters and speeches. I wish, however, that I had had a bit more time. I work 40 hours a week and have just returned from vacation, about to go on another one and have multiple essays for other classes that I am working on. It was a bit difficult to find all the time to do this speech so I wish I had my normal lighting and a longer amount of time to do my runs of the speech but it was not feasible.
